World Baseball Classic

Big baseball world tournament thingy that they created in 2006 that was supposed to mirror the success of the World Cup. It didn't quite catch on for several reasons:

1. Americans didn't like to have to realize that all their best players were not in fact illegal aliens and immigrants from other countries, and most did retain citizenship of their native countries.

2. The subsequent realization that the other teams were better than team USA belittled the annual concept of a "World Series" that would always go to an American team (except the Toronto Blue Jays of course).

3. Castro's commies can still play ball. Former Texas Rangers owner and famous chimp, George W. Bush had worked so hard to hide this fact.
