Wheelbarrows are useful for moving stuff from the wrong place to the place where you get bored and drop it. Wheelbarrows work best when the wheel actually goes round, but a faulty wheel can be overcome by dragging the barrow with lots of grunting, or more controversially, applying WD45 to the affected area.
