Watford itself is a bustling city, almost totally automomous from London and home to many a decent place to while away a few hours.
Sadly, Watford tube station is nowhere near Watford, and is instead in a massively posh housing estate broken up by bafflingly posh boys schools.
Still, its fun for a walk. In the rain. Down a busy road. With a broken umbrella. For half an hour.
