Voting (UK)

For each election, voters have three main choices:

• The devil you know
• The devil you used to know
• Voting silly to make a point

Alternatively, voters can choose to simply not turn up, or even vote for a number of smaller parties. These include:

• The Green Party, if you want to live in a world constructed of tofu and wicker.
• The BNP, if you're an ignorant racist waste of oxygen.
• The UK Independance Party, if you're a middle-class ignorant racist waste of oxygen.
• The Monster Raving Loony Party, if you're a sucker for a middle-aged man in a clown suit.
• Respect, if you have fundamentally lost the will to live.

With options like this, Friki sometimes feels there is something to be said about living in a benign dictatorship. Though some cynics would point out that hasn't done much good for the UK for the last 10 years.
