Uxbridge is a massive pikey hell-hole, so you'll need to avoid the masses of pushchair-carrying single mums and teenagers in tracksuits. If you manage this, there is rather a lot to do in Uxbridge.
There is a Greggs, for cheap pastry-based snacks and doughnuts, and there is also a KFC and a Costa Coffee, the outside area of which is permanently enshrouded in a cigarette-based mist.
There is a nearby college, so you may find a collection of art students engaged in some weird improvised street theatre. Don't be afraid of them, and offer to join in.
For beverages, try The Three Tuns which, when Friki visited, was suffering from a ghost infestation and had called in the Ghostbusters.
