I, too, enjoy Prod the Geoff. But I don't understand the rules of bacefook.

bacefook (or facebook to give it its non-noosperised name), is a "craze" that is "sweeping" Imperial College. I haven't participated in it, but it seems to involve uploading photos of yourself looking as sultry/gormless/ludicrous as possible and communicating with other members by "prodding" them, for reasons that are inadequately explained. Prodding the Geoff therefore refers to the practice of trawling bacefook until you find a Geoff (no easy task at Imperial), and prodding her. Sometimes they even prod back. Um, that's it.

Unfortunately, civilians don't seem to be able to access bacefook, so unless one is fortunate enough to go to Imperial, or one of the other "selected" universities at which it operates, its dubious pleasures will remain off-limits.

Try the equally popular "assbook" instead. I won't, as I'm at College using my supervisor's computer and don't want a bollocking.

I'm now told that you 'poke' people on bacefook - prodding is something else. So I guess prodding the Geoff is fine.
