Too fresh in the system

Standard technical jargon. Used to describe cases of EUSS Error, usually in a mocking fashion.

All people calling into call centres know that computers have a latent period whereby the information that has been entered into the computer system takes some time to actually take effect.

Most people are aware of how a computer actually works, that when you enter words, microscopic pens physically write that information into the hard drive. Information is too fresh in the system and it cannot be accessed because if it does so, the ink could smear and you will lose everything. The ink can take a few seconds up to a few weeks to dry, depending on which type of ink the company's hard drive is using. The bigger the company database, usually the longer the ink takes to dry.
