The Porter House

Another faux-"Irish" pub in Montvale, New Jersey, The Porter House has slightly posher food than Davey's... for a price. (That wasn't supposed to sound sinister.)

The Porter House has a nice beer garden area in what appears to be the ruins of part of the building, but was probably purpose built to look like that. The interior is a selection of quite small roomlets (not unlike, but also not very similar to, Nottingham's Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, and a big dining room in which no-one ever goes.

Order the coconut shrimp and be glad you did. Just ask your server extra-nice and you might get your beer before you finish your food.
