The Malt Cross

Pub in Nottingham.

The Malt Cross offers its patrons exotic beers, yummy coffee and piping hot soup. Though obviously not all at the same time. It is right next to the Cookie Club down a rather dowdy alley.

The interior of The Malt Cross was designed by the same guy that designed the Ocean zone on The Crystal Maze, so it rather resembles a sunken cruise liner full of drunkards.

Tends to host a lot of alternative arty student meetings, so your path to the bar may be blocked by the sight of two lesbians in leotards tied to a rock, or a man playing the wobble board.

The food menu is rather tapas like, meaning you can expect to pay a fiver for a small plate of Doritos and some hoummus.

Despite, or maybe because of that, Friki bequeaths 3 1/2 Celtic Crosses out of 5 on The Malt Cross.
