To take a non-ocean-worthy item and put it in the ocean, thus ruining it. Can also be known as "Put it in the ocean".
Origins
First started at 0100 January 1 2008 in Adelaide by Burt when he took his mobile phone for a swim by leaving it in his pants and wading into the gulf. Initially the phone responded to the sea water and complete lack of waves by vibrating and making odd noises, further updates to the phones condition haven't been forthcoming as when Friki rings him theres no answer. It's possible malfunctioning circuits are making Frikis name come up as "Dan" on the LCD.
