Southend Sunrise

Invented one fine summer early morning in Saint John. After copious amounts of beverages being consumed throughout the night, Friki was bewildered to find it had run out of its traditional mixing medium and had alcohol left over.

Never one to rest lightly, friki took charge of the situation by mixing random components of mixture with chosen leftover beverage. The first case of the drink involved Vodka, Citrus 7UP, and artificial peach drink (being the gentlemanly fruit). It was enjoyed by watching the early morning sun rise above the stately slums of the South End, hence getting its name.

The Sunrise has enjoyed different iterations since that first day, and adapts with whatever liquor is available.
