Unlike its more northerly counterpart, South Wimbledon is unable to boast a world-class tennis venue. Undeterred however, its plucky residents instead choose to showcase their love of pigeons and an inexplicable obsession with Lord "Fellatio" Nelson. Indeed, the one-armed frog-botherer's features can be seen adorning many a public building, not least the improbably titled Nelson's Arms.
Bacony sustenance extraordinaire can be found at the nearby Ark Cafe, but don't count on the local newsagents even knowing what day it is, let alone stocking any fags.
