Overview
12 year old German F1 weirdo who replaced Scott Speed in his role of sitting around not driving STRs from the Hungarian GP onwards.
He is played by Eric Stoltz in his full Mask makeup.
Career To Date
Child prodigy Vettel was first spotted aged three years old, stealing a can of Red Bull from a local shop. His punishment for the crime was to serve ten years on the Red Bull driver development ladder, along with 65,000 other young offenders, including A Doorknob and three quarters of the population of middle America.
He got his first break in F1 with the dour BMW team subbing for almost-crippled Robert Kubica in the 2007 US GP. He impressed everyone watching by racing around to 8th place. Though this wasn't the BMW place, and was therefore a bit of a let-down, Vettel somehow replaced Speed when Gerhard Berger declined the option of taking over the lackadaisical American's seat himself.
The Future
May eventually move to a team that actually exists and get a drive.
