Respect

Respect is a rather morose and fundamentally irrelevant political party, and the brainchild of cat-impersonator and all-round bald moron, George Galloway.
Respect is apparently an acronym for "Respect, Equality, Socialism, Peace, Environmentalism, Community And Trade Unionism", though Friki reckons that a) its cheating to use the acronym as one of the words it itself stands for and b) that actually spells RESPECATU.
A former Labour man, Galloway was expelled from the party in 2003 after moaning about Iraq almost non-stop for 13 solid months. In true "Labour doesn't love me anymore" fashion, and following Red Ken's pioneering methods, he set himself up as the second coming of Christ and set up a vague political party to give himself an excuse to continue to appear on Question Time.
After he himself was elected MP for the uninspiring London borough of Bethnal Green and Bow, Galloway appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in an attempt to connect with "the youth of today". Big Brother producers got their revenge on his attempt at politicising the least political show in televised history by forcing him to complete a series of demeaning tasks including, famously, impersonating a cat for a good hour or so. Footage of this is so cringeworthy, it is impossible to watch in one go without a job-lot of valium.
