Ravenscourt Park

A place where the District Line stops, but the Piccadilly Line just goes sailing straight through. West London is truly a two-tier society.

The name refers to a fabulous park across the road from the station, where ravens court. The area is also well blessed with chippies and cafs serving All Day Breakfasts.

A recommended nearby pub is The Thatched House. No really, it's actually very very pleasant, if a little pricey and "a bit bourgeoise". And it has a "secret garden" at the back (Ssshhh!).

In contrast, Ravenscourt Park is also home to the worst pub on the planet, but it shall remain nameless. (Not least because Friki has forgotten its name.)
