Things to do near Parsons Green

Use the electronic information board, which provides information that is a complete and utter holness - if it says you have 8 minutes before the next train arrives, don't nip over to the near Budgens to buy fudge cake, as it really means you only have enough time to see the train pulling out as you return.

For beer and twattish merriment, head for The White Horse.

Friki Note

The Information Board issues were not unique to Parsons Green. Indeed the whole Wimbledon-Edgware Road branch of the District Line has any number of ghost trains, which turn up 3 minutes before the next indicated train, often terminating somewhere different, and always smelling of burning. Some are trains called little more than "City Train", which is rather vague.
