Things to do near Neasden
Neasden is filled with opportunity. Whether it be the half hour walk to find anything useful, the exciting business park, which lists the mysterious "Unit 10" merely as "Occupied", or the unadulterated delights of the CT Wine Bar, which didn't really have a proper name, Neasden delivers. Sort of.
Neasden displays prominent signs on every lamp post asking its residents to refrain from spitting on the pavement, in a forlorn effort to "Keep Neasden Tidy".
The main feature of Neasden is a large abstract foot bridge, which offers a start point on one side of a busy roundabout, but as you cross, loops back around on itself and deposits you, dazed and confused, in the centre of the roundabout, with no other method of getting across the rest of the crossing than running across three lanes of busy automobiles in a blind panic.
The centre of the roundabout also contains the "Grange Museum of Community History", a historical exhibit only rivalled in the interesting stakes by the recently opened "Blu Tack Through The Ages" exhibition at the National Science Museum.
Friki Verdict
One and a half Celtic Crosses for Neasden. It was a bit odd.
