TV detective show starring Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher (not to be mistaken for Jessica Felcher), set in the fictional New England town of Cabot Cove (not to be confused with Cabot Place, the shopping centre under Wanary Quarf).

Jessica played a crime author, who went around shopping the friends of her relatives to the police, while the actual detectives ate doughnuts and looked bemused. The only thing Murder She Wrote ever really taught anyone was never to invite Jessica to your wedding. Someone will bump off your partner. In fact, everywhere this woman goes there is a murder - how is it no one has suspected her yet?!

Frikipedia never really liked Murder She Wrote, apart from the jaunty and quite excellent theme tune.
