Montvale

Small town in northern New Jersey, with an unusual abundance of "Irish" pubs and nail salons. On average, one of each of these facilities exists per resident.

Montvale has excellent public transport links, with hourly bus and train services to (useless parts of) New York City, occasionally via a half-hour wait in the bus depot while the driver checks the tires.

Things to do in Montvale

• Take a very long walk to nowhere (including across the less-than-noteworthy border with New York state.
• Visit one of the "Irish" pubs in Montvale such as Davey's or The Porter House.
• Eat at one of the aforementioned pubs, or have sushi, Taco Bell, or buy some groceries at the A&P to cook up a feast in the comfort of your own (rather expensive) home.
