Overview
Station on the Northern Line.
Mill Hill East exists up a pointless seperate track from Finchley Central, and in a similar sort of way to Chesham, is serviced by a single train that spends all it's trainy existence going to and from the place. If this train had been the basis for Thomas the Tank Engine, the stories would have been bloody dull.
Things to do near Mill Hill East
Go for a long walk, taking in the poncy sight of the Waitrose, which is too middle class to let you nick one of its shopping trollies, using a special magnetic system to keep them in place.
Eventually, come to The Mill, a pub perfectly positioned on the side of a stinking great roundabout.
Amusingly, according to Beer in the Evening, there is also a pub near Mill Hill East called The Dignity. If Friki had ended up at that one, it may well have exploded in a shower of irony.
Friki Verdict
Two Celtic Crosses for Mill Hill East. The beer was OK.
