M&S can be confused with both H&M and indeed S&M.

M&S shops generally specialise in three items:

• Cottony frilly stuff for the frumpy lady.
• Cheap suits made in sweatshops for the thrifty office man.
• Expensive food covered in pepper to disguise it's lack of flavour.
