Los Angeles

Los Angeles is one of those wonderful American cities that makes no sense. Building a city in the desert is somewhat less than intelligent, not to mention the major fault zone nearby. Also, Los Angeles is a prime example of the stupidity of American Urban Planning- specifically, the dependence upon private automobiles over public transportation. Multi-million dollar homes are built in the hills surrounding the area, despite the seasonal wildfires. Unlike every other major city in the world, "downtown" is the most inconsequential part. This failure of geographical hierarchy has produced highways that are difficult to maneuver and aren't convenient to the important parts of town.

Within four days of arriving in Los Angeles, User:Kidobutai was in a TV show, in an earthquake, and in love with the wonderful weather.

Due largely to the details mentioned in the first paragraph, LA is constantly losing population. However, due to the details mentioned after the first paragraph, even more people move there. In fact, it took User:Kidobutai more than two months to meet someone actually from LA.
