London Overground

Swanky new name for TFL's latest attempt to make it look like it is doing something to improve London's frankly archaic public transport infrastructure. Managed by the tremendously acronymed London Overground Rail Operations Limited (or LOROL).

Essentially involves cherry picking a series of run-down train lines around Zone 2 (including the East London Line), installing new signs at these stations and affixing cheap looking, rubbish "London Overground" stickers to all the trains.

Friki's "local" overland station, Harringay Green Lanes forms part of this "new" network, allowing Friki to travel to pretty much nowhere of any interest whatsoever in a train that smells heavily of wee.

The only really important station on the whole network is Clapham Junction, a heaving mass of bodies moulded into the shape of a railway station. On the "new" Overground system, it would take Friki a little over three weeks to reach there.
