Massive bridge in London. Rather overrated compared to Tower Bridge.

Also a station on the Northern and Jubilee Lines, and a useful meeting point for lazy summer strolls down the polished stonework of the South Bank.

Things to do near London Bridge

Walk over the bridge.

Buy some sickly caramal peanuts from the chirpy Nut Man, or one of those annoying bird whistle things from the doughy Kiwi tat-seller.

Or do you want beer?

In which case, try:

• The Bunch of Grapes
• The Bridge Bar
• The George
• The Horniman

Don't try the nearby Slug and Lettuce. Unless you want to lose a fairly substantial part of your soul.
