Overview
Station on the Piccadilly Line.
Now probably the best station to get to Arsenal FC's Emirates Stadium on a matchday, rather than the more obviously named Arsenal station. Because of this, regularly gets closed on match nights due to sweaty cockney-based overcrowding.
Things to do near Holloway Road
There's a cinema "near" here, along with a rather grotty shopping centre, featuring a Burger King, a branch of Staples and thirty Primark stores.
For drinks, head to somewhere that may have been called The Old King's Head. But probably wasn't.
Friki Verdict
Two and a half Celtic Crosses for Holloway Road. For charging Friki £7 to go to the cinema. Seven quid?! I remember when you could get a ticket, bag of popcorn and a large Sprite for less than a fiver! Grumble, moan, cat flap.
