Station on the Central and Piccadilly Lines.
Holborn station is responsible for 95% of all tourist-related crushing incidents on the London Underground every year, as the uninitiated and confused get hit head-on by the combined force of angry commuters piling off two of the most overcrowded lines on the whole sorry network.
Things to do near Holborn
Either play the "Guess who'll get trampled next" game, or head for some pubbage.
There's a Wetherspoons around, but it is more expensive than usual because of it's swanky zone 1 location, whilst offering nothing more than the same sub-standard 'spoons experience. Avoid.
Instead, go to The Cittie of Yorke. Or The Enterprise.
