People who drink this type of pint fall into two categories

Although a night out on the Guinness is one of lifes few remaining pleasures, London prices ensure you will never finish the night without requiring a large bank loan.

There are two distinct kinds of Guinness:

  • The regular kind - Usually decried by the Oirish in pubs outside of the sphere of influence of Dublin, because it doesn't "travel well". Friki has tried Guinness in Dublin and out of Dublin and can guarantee it tastes the same. Except the pint in Dublin is likely to cost you seven times as much.
  • Extra Cold - Ugh. Started the recent trend of drinks now being offered with "extra" temperature one way or another. If it was really a good idea, the brewery would simply insist all their beverage was served at that temperature. Only fun for when a friend drinks theirs too quickly and they get an ice-cream headache.
