Australian "beer". Better than XXXX, but that's not saying much.

Australians like to joke that Fosters is not fit for human consumption, so they ship it to the UK, hence you will never see an Australian drinking it.

Thanks to several television marketing campaigns in the states, most American men of drinking age actually think that Fosters is a genuine Australian beer. Combine that with an unhealthy cultural obsession with the Crocodile Hunter and another pervasive marketing campaign (for the Outback Steakhouse restaurant chain), and the result is that hearing an American loudly say "Roight, bring me a Fosters, mate!" to a bartender is, unfortunately, quite common.
