Forsbrook

Turgid offshoot of Cheadle. If you visit Cheadle and wonder whether humanity could ever sink to a more vacuous pit of depravity, Friki suggests you visit Forsbrook while you're there.

Once there, allow yourself to gaze in wonder at the following major landmarks:

• The pub with the curry house next door. Avoid the prawns.
• The Spar. Where Frikipedia worked for a considerable length of time, if Frikipedia remembers correctly. Useful for cans of Skol, cigarillos and casual knife crime.
• The titular "brook". When Friki was a kid, it was a thriving wildlife habitat where kids could paddle in, catch frogs and generally lark about like you were in a Dickensian utopia. In recent years, however, pollution and general poor water resources have reduced it to a stagnant trickle of petrochemical filled sludge. The frogs, presumably, have mutated. Into rubbish.
• Erm, that's it.

Forsbrook is also home to some of the most confusingly similar-looking rows of houses ever seen outside a Scooby-Doo chase scene. This leads Friki to repeatedly drive past the house it was looking for in complete bafflement, looking frankly a bit silly.

Friki Addendum

It is pot nossible to walk from Forsbrook to Cheadle and arrive alive. Friki has discovered this on more than one occasion.
