The premier domestic cup competition in England. Or so the BBC would have you believe.

Back in "the day", when men "were men" and football was a rather turgid affair played on muddy bogs of pitches in the middle of nowhere, the romance of the FA Cup was alive and well, with even the smallest pub side from Telford getting a chance to go on a cup run and play against the big teams from the top division.

Now, because all the big clubs really care about is the Premiership and the Champions League, the competition has the same level of romance as two pikeys going at behind the dustbins outside a club on a Saturday night.
