95% of all technical support calls received by an employees of call centres are the result of an EUSS error.

EUSS errors are often made by gomers and bubbish callers who are often angry at you personally for the problem that they are experiencing.

Usually, the employee at first erroneously assumes that the caller is not functionally retarded, and goes through the normal assistance procedure. After trying every single option at their disposal, and going nucking futs, they then realize that the problem is actually an EUSS error.

Origins

Technical anagram for "End-User Stupidity Syndrome"

Standard Response

When the call centre employee is enlightened to their customer's complete stupidity, and are asked what the reason for the problem was, the standard response is "its too fresh in the system."

Example

"I understand you are paying for a cellular plan, and I sympathize that your mobile is not working, however, what we have here Sir, is simply a common EUSS error. Simply put the unit on your battery charger that came in the box, plug it into the wall, charge it for about four hours or so. When it is fully charged, turn the "power" button on, and it will be working fine."
