Dog the Bounty Hunter
From Frikipedia
Frankly astonishing American reality TV show, which Friki recently discovered while recovering from severe alcohol poisoning on New Year's Day.
In which the viewer follows the life of "Dog", a sort of cross between a WWF wrestler and Sheriff John Bunnell off World's Wildest Police Videos, played by Chuck Norris on heavy skunk, and his team of bounty hunters, as they embark on a series of fairly banal tasks in order to track down bail jumpers and the like across the country. These tasks play out like levels in the world's most tedious RPG and usually consist of "do some filing", or "drive after a bus" or something, but are dramatically edited to make it look like Dog and his team are actually embroiled in some thrilling life-or-death chase.
Dog is assisted in his work by his improbably dimensioned wife (played by Pamela Anderson in the fatsuit Courtney Cox wore in flashback episodes of Friends) and the rest of his extended family, who all drive around in massive 4 x 4s with camera crews hanging out of the side of them in an attempt to remain incognito.
Unsurprisingly, seeing as Dog's wagon train is about as inconspicuous as an erection at a naturist resort, the target of their hunting regularly gets tipped off that they're being followed and evades capture. This ensures the show is dragged out for the full hour of the schedule it needs to fill.
Dog occasionally refers to people being caught by him as them getting "dogged", inferring he considers his work to be "dogging". Friki hopes he never meets Stan Collymore.
