Overview
Station on the Northern Line.
This part of London was the setting for the film Welcome To Collinwood, along with being the birthplace of England cricketting legend, Paul Collingwood. It is named after early London settler Colin Dale, who invented the rotisserie.
Things to do near Colindale
Colindale has fun for all the family. Mainly:
- A boarded up mental asylum, which just looks like a boarded up house.
- The UK's only stash of rabies vaccine, which you pick up yourself and transport to your local GP to be administered, provoking many an anti-NHS rant.
- A pub, The New Chandos, famed for it's Surf n Turf.
- A room to let, which on closer inspection turns out to be a garage.
Friki Verdict
Colindale received a pre-emptive 1/4 of a Celtic Cross. It is difficult to argue with that.
