There is a nice pub called, derivatively, The Clapham North.
Friki says nice, but it is also the only pub open later than 11pm at weekends, so is always packed. WHen Friki went, it was forced to sit in the extensive beer garden away from the patio heaters and fend off the despairing pleas of a thousand tramps desperate for a few pennies to buy a can of Special Brew.
