Things to do near Chorleywood
Like it's near neighbours, there is a resounding lack of much at all at Chorleywood.
The main draws of the high street are:
- A Budgens, the store which some believe was the template for every Waitrose in the country.
- A swanky bath shop, selling a bath/fountain combo thing.
- A "wedding shop", which will only give out free glasses of rosé if you're getting married. The fascists.
- A bookies which, just to prove how relentlessly middle-Englandy this bit of the world is, was completely empty when Friki went in to escape the cold. Despite the pleading looks from the two staff members, Friki declided to place a bet, and left the shop at the same time someone else came in, asking to use the toilet.
- A really ace-looking cheese and pickle shop, selling expensive cheeses, similary expensive pickles, and dreadful coffee.
