Many of the greatest comedians of the last 40 years hailed from Chicago's The Second City. Has quite a few songs and a band named in its honor - despite having 8 months of winter.

Known as the 'windy city', due to its residents' taste for baked beans.

Visitors from other major cities are often suprised at how friendly the locals are. And how high the tax rates are. "I thought New York had the highest taxes in the country!" Sorry, lady; Chicago wins that one.
