Cheadle

Turgid offshoot of Stoke-On-Trent. If you visit Stoke-on-Trent and wonder whether humanity could ever sink to a more vacuous pit of depravity, Friki suggests you visit Cheadle while you're there.

Once there, allow yourself to gaze in wonder at the following major landmarks:

• The Master Potter. A pub where Friki had it's first ever tactical chunder. A plaque was erected in the cubicle where it occurred, but Friki thinks the cleaners took it down.
• The Rec. A rusting play area for kids. Filled with used skag needles and tetanus. A good place to go and drink.
• That little cafe. A cafe next to a church. Which was so small you and your waitress could not be present at your table at the same time.
• A small housing estate built in an attempt to regenerate the area. Recently discovered to be sinking into the less-than-stable patch of earth it was bult on.
• The Huntsman. Another pub. And Oh My God.
