Bands are groups of highly developed Apes, who, in an attempt to protect themselves from predators, organize themselves into small units based on hairstyle, tatoos, and/or clothing preference. They then attempt to construct musical structures using the same three or four chords over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Even the top scientists in the field are at a loss to explain the repeated use of repetition.

Although not scientifically proven, studies have shown a possible link between the heavy use of Alcohol and Drugs and the Ape's limited ability to implement things like dynamics, musicality, and variety in their musical structures. Efforts to bring these apes in from the wild and give them a proper musical education only makes their parents poor.
