Buses are the lowest form of transport on the planet, below trains, cars, bicycles and erosion.
London has over 656,000 bus services. Most of which go nowhere of any interest.
Any London bus will contain the following:
- A group of asbo-toting youngsters listening to aggressive shouty rap music through the tinny speakers of a mobile phone, changing each track after three and a half seconds, reflecting the attention spans of their Playstation-addled brains.
- Fourteen all-terrain pushchairs, each sufficiently equipped to compete in the Paris-Dakar Rally.
- A loud man shouting in Foreign into his mobile phone, along with animated hand gestures, as if the person on the other end can see.
- A gently swaying tramp, mumbling to himself.
- A large group of tourists who don't really understand how it all works, fail to press the button in time and miss their stop.
On the plus side, it is pot nossible to have an Incomplete Journey on a bus.
