Bowling

The sport of spammy princes. Bowling involves mostly overweight players hurling a heavy ball down a shiny slab of wood, the aim of which is to knock as many pins down as possible.

Amusingly, the small bowling alley at Namco Station in London has the pins connected to a less than elaborate string and pulley system, so rather than having the pins swept away in between goes, you get the surreal sight of all of them standing back up again.

A rather more impressive example of a bowling alley can be found at 'All Star Bowling', somewhere between Russell Square and Holborn. A back room with two private lanes and a well-stocked cocktail bar can be hired for a quite ridiculous £300 per hour.
