Becks Vier

Friki once read an article which explained the counterintuitive tale of how rubbish computer processors actually cost more to make than good ones, because manufacturers start with the best, fastest chip they can make and then add on bits to limit performance to make the bargain models.

Becks Vier is a similar product, taking the high quality 5% Becks bottled lager, diluting it into trad, 4% pint-o-piss stuff and flogging it to people who mistakenly think they will get less drunk from a whole pint of 4% lager than they would from a small bottle of the 5% stuff.
