Named after the residents, who are quite literally "dogs".
Things to do near Barking
There is a Wetherspoons, possibly called "The Barking Dog". For a very small price, you can rent an office directly above said pub, which Friki briefly considered as a location for Friki HQ before realising it would spend the rest of its life eating Wetherspoons Beer and Burger Deals and standing around smoking outside with a bunch of revolting chavs.
Friki Verdict
Barking gets two Celtic Crosses out of five, if only because the round in the 'spoons was around 50% cheaper than the one in a similar pub in Holborn.
