Aldgate is near the always-fun Brick Lane area, should you want a curry at 12.30 in the afternoon.
Alternatively, go for a pint and a couple of episodes of the Teletubbies in The Aldgate Exchange, followed by a visit to the local Costcutters, which sells the worlds most disparate array of porn magazines, along with one copy of Heat and some very dusty pens.
Aldgate also features a confusing subway, similar in its setup to the Elephant & Castle one, albiet filled with people dressed up as christmas crackers, rather than people selling drugs.
